(WNY News Now) – A Wethersfield man was indicted by the Wyoming County Grand Jury on the
charges of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child less than 13, a Class A-II Felony, Course of Sexual Conduct against a Child less than 13 in the Second Degree.

Wyoming County – Jeremy Nugent, 47 of Wethersfield, New York was indicted by the Wyoming County Grand Jury on the charges of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child less than 13, a Class A-II Felony, Course of Sexual Conduct against a Child less than 13 in the Second Degree, A Class D Felony, Assault in the Third Degree, a class A Misdemeanor and Endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A Misdemeanor (see attached copy of the
indictment.

These acts were allegedly committed over the court of 4 plus years dating back to December 2016 through December 2020. Mr. Nugent faces a maximum sentence of 25 to life in prison.

He was arraigned on October 2, 2023 where bail was set at 100,000 Cash, $250,000 bond, and $500,000 partially secured bond.

He is currently out on bond. The case is currently scheduled for December 7, 2023 at 11am for pre-trial motion arguments in Wyoming County Court.
