    (WNY News Now) – A narcotics investigation at the Jamestown City Jail on October 24, 2023, resulted in a 37-year-old female facing criminal possession charges for two controlled substances.

    Jamestown – On October 24, 2023, at approximately 4:00 PM, officers from the Jamestown Second Platoon received information from Jamestown City Court regarding the remand of Danielle N. Braun, a 37-year-old female with prior charges. She was escorted to the Jamestown City Jail by Jamestown Court Security.

    During the inventory process of Braun’s belongings, officers discovered that she was in possession of two distinct controlled substances. As a result, Braun was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree.

    Braun was given an appearance ticket and she was later picked up by Chautauqua
    County Sheriffs Office and taken to Chautauqua County Jail.
