Man Arrested for Smashing Patrol Car Window

(WNY News Now) – On October 30th, 2023, a 42-year-old man from East Concord, NY, was arrested after reportedly smashing a patrol car window with a brick at the Cattaraugus County Sheriffs Office in Little Valley, NY.

Little Valley – On the evening of October 30, 2023, local deputies responded to an incident at the Cattaraugus County Sheriffs Office, situated at 301 Court St. in Little Valley, NY. The incident involved an individual who had allegedly used a brick to smash a patrol car window. The suspect, identified as Michael P. Hecht, a 42-year-old resident of East Concord, NY, was taken into custody by law enforcement officers.

Following his apprehension, Michael P. Hecht was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriffs Office for further processing. He was subsequently arraigned at the Town of Little Valley Court. As a result of the arraignment, Hecht has been remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail while awaiting further legal proceedings.
