(WNY News Now) – A Franklinville, New York resident has entered a plea of not guilty to a series of charges, including Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), after an incident that occurred on or about May 24, 2023, in the Town of Hinsdale.

Hinsdale – Daniel Hamilton pleaded not guilty to a series of charges stemming from an incident in Hinsdale on May 24, 2023. The charges include DWI (VTL 1192[2]), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree (VTL 511[3][A]), Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the Second Degree (VTL 195.05), Interlock Violation (VTL 1198[9][D]), and Speed Violation (VTL 1180[B]).

The incident involved Hamilton allegedly operating a motor vehicle on a public highway while intoxicated and, at the same time, knowing or having reason to know that his license or privilege to operate a motor vehicle in the State of New York was suspended or revoked.

The case is currently adjourned for motions.
