Narcotics Investigation Leads to Arrest of Jamestown Residents


(WNY News Now) – In the early hours of November 4th, 2023, a narcotics investigation conducted by the Jamestown Police Department resulted in the arrest of two Jamestown residents on charges of drug-related offenses.

Jamestown – At approximately 12:02 am, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Violence Crime Unit and K9 Unit carried out a routine traffic stop on Allen St. near Institute St. During the stop, officers discovered that Kim Sue Nutting and Joshua Warner were allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, digital scales, packaging materials, and a sum of US currency.

In a subsequent search incident following their arrest, officers found an additional 19.5 grams of methamphetamine on Kim Sue Nutting’s person. As a result, Nutting has been charged with two counts of Criminal Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree. Meanwhile, Joshua Warner faces two counts of Criminal Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree. Warner was also issued several uniform traffic tickets in addition to these charges.


Both suspects are currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
