(WNY News Now) – On November 6, 2023, a domestic incident unfolded on the North Side of the city, resulting in charges of Unlawful Imprisonment in the 2nd Degree and Forcible Touching for 38-year-old Jamestown resident.
Jamestown – On November 7, 2023, around 12:05 am, officers of the Jamestown Police Department 3rd Platoon
responded to a domestic incident at an address on the North Side of the city. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim and Edgar L Shirley.
An investigation determined that around 2000 hours on November 6, 2023, Shirley allegedly followed the victim into her bathroom and would not let her leave. Shirley then forcibly touched the victim before she was finally able to get away from him. Shirley was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he is housed pending arraignment.
Edgar L Shirley is charged with Unlawful Imprisonment in the 2nd Degree and Forcible Touching.
