(WNY News Now) – In an incident reported on November 24, 2023, Jamestown Police apprehended an 18-year-old for allegedly refusing to return a vehicle, leading to charges of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle 3rd.

Jamestown – Late on the night of November 24, 2023, around 2315 hours, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon responded to a complaint of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on the city’s north side. The complainant alleged that Ruben L. Medina, an 18-year-old male, had failed to return their vehicle despite being instructed to do so nearly four hours earlier.

Following an investigation, officers identified Medina operating the vehicle and conducted a routine traffic stop. Without incident, Medina was taken into custody. He now faces a charge of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle 3rd, as detailed by the Jamestown City Court.
