(WNY News Now) – The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team, aiding the Frewsburg Fire Department, disclosed the origin and cause of a fire at 728 Warren Road in the Town of Carroll on November 26, 2023.

Town of Carroll – At approximately 08:30 am, responders probed a storage/out building blaze. The investigation pinpointed embers from a woodstove, touching combustible materials in the flooring, as the catalyst. The smoldering contact escalated into a fire. Authorities ensured containment and extinguishment measures were promptly enacted. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
