    (WNY News Now) – Governor Kathy Hochul was a guest on NY1 after the U.S. House of Representatives voted to expel George Santos from Congress. 

    NYC – By law, when there is a vacancy in the House of Representatives, a governor has 10 days to issue a proclamation for a special election. The special election must be scheduled 60-70 days from the date the proclamation is issued.

    “When you look at his lack of ethics and the fact that, you know, he has not served the people of our state, particularly New York 3 where he resides, it’s been an abysmal run for him.”

    “And he has not done what he has to do for New Yorkers, and I’m glad he’s gone because I need people I can work with to fight for New York, to bring federal money to our state, to create jobs and opportunities. And George Santos just took up space.”

      For all of his faults, Congressman Santos hasn’t attacked my rights like the Gov has. Like the Gov’s efforts to take away gun rights, and attack home rule by taking over local Government Zoning authority.(not to mention she was pitched as a “Centrist”, while she is in fact a drive by abortion leftist.) NY will be glad when she is gone from Albany
