(WNY News Now) – A 36-year-old Chautauqua county resident is facing charges of theft of services and criminal possession of a controlled substance after an incident on December 4, 2023.
Town of Ellicott – Chad E. Walters, 36, was arrested on December 4, 2023, on charges of theft of services and criminal possession of a controlled substance. The allegations stem from an incident where Walters purportedly left a restaurant without paying for the services he received, utilizing stealth to exit unnoticed.
Furthermore, authorities claim that upon apprehension, Walters was found in possession of a baggy containing an unidentified white powdery substance suspected to be methamphetamine.
Walters has been issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to address the charges brought against him.
