(WNY News Now) – A 30-year-old Jamestown resident, was arrested on charges including endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated DWI after officers observed her failing to stop at a red light with an infant in her vehicle.

In the early hours of February 10th, 2024, officers from the Jamestown Police Department spotted a vehicle disregarding a red signal at the intersection of Winsor St. and Harrison St. Upon conducting a traffic stop, they discovered Allison P. Langworthy behind the wheel, displaying signs of intoxication. Shockingly, an infant was found in the vehicle.

Following a chemical test revealing Langworthy’s blood alcohol concentration exceeding .18%, she was charged with multiple offenses including Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Aggravated DWI. Langworthy awaits arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
