(WNY News Now) – Buffalo, NY – Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 51-year-old Buffalo man was sentenced this morning before Buffalo City Court Judge Shannon M. Heneghan to one year in jail.
Between May 1, 2023 and May 19, 2023, Peter P. Christopher stole 91 city parking meters from various locations in downtown Buffalo.
Christopher pleaded guilty to one count of Attempted Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (Class “A” misdemeanor) on December 14, 2023.
DA Flynn commends the Buffalo Police Department for their work in these investigations.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Christopher P. Jurusik of the Special Investigations and Prosecutions (SIP) Bureau.
