(WNY News Now) – Olean, NY – Steve E. McCord, Director of Cattaraugus County Veterans Services, announces expanded availability for veterans and families at various locations across the county.
In an effort to better serve the local veteran community, Director Steve E. McCord will be holding itinerant office hours at multiple locations in Cattaraugus County throughout the month. The outreach includes Gowanda’s American Legion Post, Little Valley’s VFW Post, Randolph’s American Legion Post, and Franklinville’s Town Clerk’s Office. Olean office hours remain 8:00 am to noon, 1-4 pm, or 4-5 pm, Monday through Friday, with prior appointments required by calling (716) 701-3298. McCord emphasizes that if no appointments are scheduled at the outreach locations, he will remain at the county building in Olean. Veterans are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to discuss VA benefit laws and address any concerns or questions.
