(WNY News Now) – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a 81-year old Dayton, NY, man on March 15, 2024, at approximately 6:15 PM, following the discovery of an active bench warrant during an unrelated encounter.
Sheriff Timothy S. Whitcomb disclosed that deputies encountered Daniel L. Gabel during an unrelated incident, leading to the discovery of the active warrant issued by the Town of Little Valley Court. Following standard procedure, Gabel was transported to the Town of Little Valley Court for arraignment. Subsequently, he was released on his own recognizance, pending a future court appearance.
