(WNY News Now) – A 27-year old Salamanca, NY, man was arrested for Assault, Criminal Mischief, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child following a domestic incident.
In the early hours of March 19, 2024, at approximately 01:35 am, law enforcement responded to a domestic disturbance at 4043 Newton St, Salamanca, NY 14779. Vernon Pierce was apprehended and subsequently charged with Assault in the 3rd degree, Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Pierce, aged 27, was taken into custody and transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Following this, he was arraigned and is scheduled to appear in Salamanca Town Court at a later date.
