(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A 24-year-old male from Jamestown, was arrested on charges of Assault in the 2nd degree following an altercation on the south side of the city.
On April 28th, 2024, around 10:17 pm, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd platoon responded to reports of a fight in progress at an address on the south side of Jamestown. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Michael A. Bane had allegedly struck a female victim in the face with a metal rod.
Bane was promptly apprehended and taken into custody without resistance. He was subsequently transported to the Jamestown City jail. Charges of Assault in the 2nd degree were filed against Bane, who remained held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
