(WNY News Now) – Buffalo, N.Y., – HOPE Day, the 24-hour match challenge day of giving, returns on May 15, rallying support for Appeal 2024, with a dollar-for-dollar match up to $61,000 from generous donors like Uniland Development, Catholic Health, and OneBridge Benefits.

HOPE Day, the pivotal 24-hour fundraising marathon supporting Appeal 2024, is slated to energize Western New York on May 15, uniting the community in a shared commitment to Catholic Charities of Buffalo and the Fund for the Faith’s $9.5 million goal.

In its centennial milestone, Appeal 2024 introduces a novel collaboration with Resurgence Brewing Company, debuting a limited edition “Hops for HOPE” beer available exclusively on tap at Resurgence’s Buffalo location on 55 Chicago St. Additionally, a select quantity of four packs will be retailed, with proceeds earmarked for Appeal 2024.

Deacon Steve Schumer, President & CEO of Catholic Charities, emphasized the significance of HOPE Day, highlighting its integral role in bolstering initiatives that aid the region’s vulnerable populations.
