(WNY News Now) – Buffalo, NY – The Market in the Square and Giant Food Mart, owned by Brian and Nick Kusmierski, will host a unique Mother’s Day event for children across all four store locations.
In anticipation of Mother’s Day, The Market in the Square and Giant Food Mart are offering children an opportunity to create a heartfelt gift for their mothers. On Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 1 pm to 3 pm, all four stores will welcome kids to participate in a special event designed just for them.
Nick Kusmierski, co-owner of The Market in the Square and Giant Food Mart, emphasized the importance of giving kids a chance to create something personal for their mothers. The event will feature a “Plant Workshop” where children will receive pots, soil, and flowers to assemble with guidance from store staff.
The event is free for children at The Market in the Square stores in West Seneca and North Tonawanda, as well as at the Giant Food Mart stores in Wellsville and Cuba. However, supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, special treats will be provided to enhance the experience for all participants.
