On June 23, 2024, at approximately 8:31 AM, Robert M. Bloom called the Jamestown Police Department to announce his intention to breach the terms of an existing Order of Protection. Despite being advised by officers to stay away from the protected residence, Bloom proceeded to the location, where he was heard knocking on the door and shouting for the protected party.

Upon arrival, officers confirmed Bloom’s presence at the residence, directly violating the court-mandated Order of Protection. Following a brief investigation, he was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree and Criminal Contempt in the First Degree.

Bloom was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and is currently being held pending his arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
