In a concerted effort to solve a tragic shooting, the ATF and Rochester PD are offering a significant reward for information leading to justice.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has announced a $5,000 contribution towards a reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for the shooting at MLK Park. On Sunday, June 23, 2024, six people were injured in the incident, prompting an urgent call for community assistance to solve this violent crime.

The ATF New York Field Division, alongside the Rochester Police Department, CrimeStoppers, and other community partners, is spearheading the initiative to encourage anyone with relevant information to come forward.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting at MLK Park is urged to contact the Rochester Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Section at CIS@cityofrochester.gov or by calling (585) 428-9941.
