(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – Felix Rodriguez Gomez, a 38-year-old Jamestown resident, was apprehended by police after violating a protection order and attempting to flee, resulting in multiple charges.

On June 30, 2024, at approximately 8:44 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon responded to a domestic incident on the city’s southside. During their investigation, they found that Felix Rodriguez Gomez had violated an order of protection requiring him to stay away from the victim.

Upon the officers’ arrival, Rodriguez Gomez attempted to flee. After a brief struggle, he was apprehended. During a subsequent search, officers discovered a quantity of methamphetamine, a digital scale, and plastic bags commonly used for packaging controlled substances.

Rodriguez Gomez now faces multiple charges, including Criminal Contempt in the 1st degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia, and Resisting Arrest. He is currently being held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
