(WNY News Now) – Randolph, NY – On July 17, 2024, at approximately 12:53 PM, a 16-year-old juvenile was arrested for assault in the 3rd degree following a domestic incident on Jamestown Street.
Patrol officers responded to a call reporting a physical domestic disturbance with injuries. Upon arrival, officers met the victim who reported that his 16-year-old brother had caused physical injuries by throwing an object, striking him in the head. The juvenile was charged with Assault in the 3rd degree.
Both the juvenile and the parents were issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in family court at a later date. The juvenile has been released on his own recognizance. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
