(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – Two teenagers are in stable condition after a double shooting on Daisy Street Saturday evening, prompting Syracuse Police to seek public assistance.

On Saturday, July 20th, 2024, at approximately 6:24 p.m., Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 100 block of Daisy Street following a ShotSpotter activation for multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 20-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his lower legs. The victim was quickly transported to University Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.

Shortly after, a second shooting victim, a 16-year-old male, was brought to Upstate Hospital Emergency Room. Syracuse Police officers identified the teenager with a gunshot wound to his leg. He is also listed in stable condition. Preliminary investigations suggest that this incident occurred on Daisy Street.

The Syracuse Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is urging anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward. Tips can be directed to (315) 442-5222.
