Hintz of Thunder and Uncle Ben’s Remedy to Electrify Dunkirk’s Music on the Pier
(WNY News Now) – Dunkirk – Dunkirk’s popular Music on the Pier Summer Concert Series continues this Thursday with a Country Rock Night, featuring Hintz of Thunder and Uncle Ben’s Remedy. Presented by DFT Communications, with National Grid sponsoring the stage and Advanced Production Group (APG) handling production, this week promises a thrilling musical experience.

Hintz of Thunder: Formed in 2012 by the dynamic husband-and-wife duo, Mandy Hintz and David Robbins, this band hails from Perrysburg, NY. They specialize in country music, spanning classics from Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash to today’s hits. The band features Mandy Hintz on lead vocals, David Robbins on vocals and guitar, Daniel Siracuse on bass, Kenny Blesy on lead guitar, and Jeff Wilson on drums.
Uncle Ben’s Remedy: Known for their authentic country sound rooted in the small towns of Western New York, Uncle Ben’s Remedy tells stories through their music, reflecting their community-driven background. The band members, Ben Westlund, Harmony Griffin, Shawn Huestis, Brendan O’Connor, and Jimmy Royce, bring a mix of traditional and rock ‘n’ roll instruments to their performances, creating an energetic and heartfelt musical experience.
Food and other vendors will be present, along with the city’s beverage tent. The Dunkirk Boardwalk Marketplace and nearby businesses will be open for attendees. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs for seating. Note that the pier will close at 2 PM on the day of the event, and all parked vehicles must be cleared by that time.
