(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – Join the Roger Tory Peterson Institute on August 17 for a day of live music, nature, and celebration at the annual Rogers Bird-Day Bash.

Each August the Roger Tory Peterson Institute celebrates Roger Tory Peterson’s birthday by throwing a “bird-day” bash, featuring live music, food and fun. The headliner this year is Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root, with Dirk Miller. The opening act will be Miranda Wilcox and Tim Britt, for four full hours of music!

The museum and exhibits open at 10am. Music begins at noon with Tim Britt, followed by Miranda Wilcox at 1pm, and Michael Glabicki with Dirk Miller at 2pm. 

Rogers Bird-Day Bash is sponsored by Summit Wealth Management, Falconer Printing, and Media One Radio Group. Tickets are available now.
