(WNY News Now) – Dunkirk, N.Y. – The City of Dunkirk Co-Ed Slow Pitch League ended in a blaze of glory as the Maniacs sealed their perfect 36-0 season with a decisive 11-1 victory over the Cali Kings.
The City of Dunkirk Co-Ed Slow Pitch League concluded August 25, 2024 after the Maniacs defeated Cali Kings 11-1 in 5 innings. The Maniacs, sponsored by the Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club, wrapped up the season with a perfect 36-0 record.
Thank you to the additional six in the league: Masterbatters, The Fix, SoCalTile, Exempts, Walker & Sons, and Darkside. The Recreation Department would also like to thank all of the umpires and the City Parks Department for their hard work all season.
