(WNY News Now) – Niagara Falls – A New Jersey man will spend the next 15 years behind bars for a string of brutal attacks in Niagara Falls, culminating in multiple assaults during the summer of 2021.

Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that Quennel R. Jordan, 40, of New Jersey, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for a series of violent crimes committed in Niagara Falls in 2021. Jordan pled guilty to multiple charges, including one count of Attempted Assault in the First Degree, two counts of Assault in the Second Degree, and one count of Attempted Assault in the Second Degree.

Jordan admitted to attacking several individuals in separate incidents. In June 2021, he attempted to assault two people—one with a baseball bat. In July, Jordan attacked another individual with a baseball bat and was involved in a brutal stomping outside a gas station in Niagara Falls.

The case was investigated by the Niagara Falls Police Department, and the prosecution was led by Assistant District Attorneys Christine Savoia and Laura Jordan. Niagara County Court Judge Caroline Wojtaszek imposed the sentence, which includes an additional five years of post-release supervision after Jordan serves his 15-year prison term.
