(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – A Syracuse man was arrested following a stabbing on Oakwood Avenue that left a 48-year-old victim with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at approximately 11:10 a.m., Syracuse Police Officers responded to a disturbance call in the 100 block of Oakwood Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered a 48-year-old male with multiple lacerations, including two on his arm and one on his face.
The victim, who had been cut with a kitchen knife, was promptly transported to Upstate Hospital Emergency Room. Fortunately, his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening.
The investigation led to the arrest of 27-year-old Daquan Dotson of Syracuse, New York, who has been charged in connection with the incident. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
