(WNY News Now) – Ellicott – A Pennsylvania resident faces charges of petit larceny after allegedly shoplifting from a local store in Ellicott.

Rochelle C. Coone, 52, of Youngsville, Pennsylvania, was charged with petit larceny on August 25th at approximately 3:00 PM. Officers from the Town of Ellicott Police Department responded to a complaint of shoplifting, where it was alleged that Coone had taken merchandise from a store without paying.

Following the incident, Coone was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott court at a later date to answer to the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
