(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – A 16-year-old male was stabbed in the shoulder Saturday night at the Destiny USA parking lot, prompting an ongoing police investigation.

On the evening of Saturday, September 28, 2024, at approximately 9:05 p.m., Syracuse Police responded to St. Joseph’s Hospital after a teenage male arrived with a stab wound to his left shoulder. The 16-year-old victim, whose identity has not been released, was later transferred to Upstate Hospital’s Emergency Room for further treatment. The injury, though serious, was deemed non-life-threatening, and the teen is expected to recover.

According to authorities, the incident occurred in the parking lot of Macy’s at Destiny USA, a large shopping center in Syracuse. Details about the altercation remain limited as the police continue their investigation.
