(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – A trespass complaint led to the arrest of two individuals early Saturday morning on the city’s east side. The suspects face charges related to a domestic incident and alleged violations of court orders.

Officers from the Third Platoon responded to a residence at approximately 4:30 a.m. on November 30 after receiving a trespassing report. Upon arrival, investigators determined that 33-year-old Brea Wilkins-Carlson, a Jamestown resident, was in violation of a court-ordered order of protection. According to police, Wilkins-Carlson attempted to evade authorities, breaking a window to access the roof of the apartment.

Inside the residence, officers discovered 38-year-old Douglas Puckett, also of Jamestown, restraining another individual and preventing them from leaving. Both Wilkins-Carlson and Puckett were taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

Wilkins-Carlson has been charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree for violating the order of protection. Puckett faces a charge of Unlawful Imprisonment for allegedly restraining the victim. Both suspects remain held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
