(WNY News Now) – Buffalo, NY — Deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 30-year-old Olean man on November 14, 2024, following the issuance of a bench warrant by Cattaraugus County Court.
Devon J. Blanchard was taken into custody at a group home in Buffalo after authorities were alerted to his presence. Deputies, with assistance from campus police, located Blanchard at the facility and executed the warrant without incident.
Blanchard was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail under the authority of County Judge Ploetz. No bail was set. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to address charges under CPL 530.70. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
