(WNY News Now) – A peculiar complaint at a Jamestown hotel has led to the arrest of two men accused of inappropriate conduct with hotel staff.
On the evening of December 19, 2024, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon responded to a downtown hotel after receiving a report of two male guests allegedly exposing themselves to hotel staff.
Upon investigation, police identified the individuals as 68-year-old Amos W. Turner III of Alfred and 54-year-old Thomas E. Odell of Jamestown. According to authorities, the men requested hotel staff to bring items to their room, and when staff arrived, the suspects opened the door unclothed. One of the men was reportedly observed engaging in inappropriate behavior.
The situation escalated when the individuals allegedly invited the staff member into the room and continued to call the hotel’s front desk, requesting additional assistance until police arrived.
Both men were taken into custody at the scene and charged with public lewdness. They were transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where they remain held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
