(WNY News Now) – A late-night street check in Jamestown led to the arrest of a man for public lewdness and disorderly conduct after officers found him obstructing traffic while exposing himself.

JAMESTOWN, NY – On December 22, 2024, at approximately 2:33 a.m., Jamestown Police officers on patrol observed a male obstructing traffic on W 3rd Street near Porter Avenue. The individual, identified as Miguel Jimenez Morales, 39, of Columbus, Indiana, was reportedly standing in the middle of the roadway, causing vehicles to maneuver around him.

Before officers could approach, Morales was seen urinating in the roadway, exposing himself to oncoming traffic. Officers promptly intervened, taking him into custody without incident.

Morales was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and faces charges of public lewdness and disorderly conduct. He is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
