(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A domestic incident on Jamestown’s southside led to the arrest of a local resident on Saturday evening.
At approximately 5:42 p.m. on December 29, 2024, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Second Platoon responded to a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival, authorities identified 43-year-old Erin R. Dale as the individual involved in the incident.
According to police, their investigation revealed that Dale had caused property damage during the altercation. When officers informed her of the charges and attempted to take her into custody, Dale resisted arrest, prompting a brief struggle.
Despite her attempts to avoid detention, officers successfully apprehended Dale and transported her to the Jamestown City Jail. She is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court, facing charges of Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree and Resisting Arrest.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
