(WNY News Now) – A traffic stop in Little Valley revealed a driver with a revoked license and an alarming history of violations.
On December 29, 2024, at approximately 9:57 p.m., deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Kenneth Grainer after observing his vehicle traveling at 82 mph in a 30 mph zone on Rock City Street, Little Valley, NY.
During the traffic stop, it was discovered that Grainer was operating the vehicle with a revoked license, compounded by 14 prior scoffs on nine separate dates. He now faces multiple charges, including Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree (a felony), Reckless Driving (a misdemeanor), and Speed in Zone violations.
Grainer was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 8, 2025, for further proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
