(WNY News Now) – The historic Buffalo Central Terminal’s revitalization takes center stage at the upcoming Build Buffalo networking event, offering new business prospects for minority, women, and veteran-owned subcontractors.

BUFFALO, NY— The Central Terminal Restoration Corp. (CTRC) and Buffalo  Construction Consultants will be attending Build Buffalo, a networking event  hosted by the Construction Exchange of Buffalo and Western New York. Certified  minority and women-owned business enterprise (MWBE) and service-disabled  veteran-owned business (SDVOB) subcontractors are encouraged to attend,  network, and engage with prime contractors who are seeking partners on  construction projects.

The Build Buffalo event is Jan. 21, 2025, at Resurgence Brewing Company, 55  Chicago St., Buffalo. Certified MWBE and SDVOB subcontractors are invited to  attend from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The event is open to all subcontractors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Subcontractors will have the opportunity to learn about the Buffalo Central  Terminal Reuse Project, explore business opportunities for vendors and suppliers,  and meet with the owners and construction management team to discuss scopes  and bid packages.
