(WNY News Now) – OLEAN, NY – A 25-year-old Olean resident was taken into custody on January 13, 2025, after law enforcement discovered an active bench warrant for her arrest.
At approximately 7:57 p.m., deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office observed Courtney B. Wilder walking along West Green Street in Olean. Upon confirming her identity, authorities executed the bench warrant issued by Salamanca City Court.
Wilder was transported to the Salamanca Police Department, where she was arraigned. Following her court appearance, she was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail and will remain in custody awaiting further legal proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
