(WNY News Now) – A Pennsylvania man faces multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated, following a single-car accident in Great Valley, New York.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of Jeffrey J. Lencioni II, 50, of Meadville, Pennsylvania, on January 14, 2025, following a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Great Valley.

Deputies responded to the scene at Snow Pine Village at approximately 4:03 p.m., where they found Lencioni’s vehicle off the roadway with the transmission still in reverse. Lencioni was outside the vehicle and admitted to being the driver at the time of the accident.

Upon investigation, deputies observed signs of intoxication. Lencioni was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), refusal to submit to a breath test, and unsafe lane movement.

Due to Lencioni’s refusal to undergo a chemical test, his privilege to drive in New York State was revoked. He was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Great Valley Court at a later date.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
