(WNY News Now) – A collaborative drug investigation in Jamestown resulted in the seizure of significant quantities of methamphetamine and the arrest of a local resident who is now facing federal charges.

Jamestown, N.Y. – On January 21, 2025, at approximately 11:33 a.m., law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at 31 Fairfield Avenue Lower Apartment in Jamestown, uncovering an alleged methamphetamine distribution operation.

The operation, led by the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, was supported by K9 units from the Jamestown Police Department and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. Entry into the apartment revealed two individuals, including 37-year-old Samantha K. Robbins, who were detained for questioning.

During the search, authorities seized 393.6 grams of methamphetamine, $2,803 in cash, packaging materials, a digital scale, and other drug-related paraphernalia. Robbins was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. She is currently awaiting federal charges.

The investigation involved multiple agencies, including the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Dunkirk Police Department, Ellicott Police Department, and the FBI.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
