(WNY News Now) – Levi Petti, a young boy who triumphed over a rare and life-threatening condition, still faces ongoing medical needs—and his family is seeking the community’s help to ensure his future care.

Levi Petti was born with a rare condition called Esophageal Atresia with Tracheal Fistula, requiring multiple surgeries before his first birthday to correct the wiring of his esophagus and trachea. After numerous invasive surgeries, hospital stays, and months of oxygen therapy, Levi has made incredible progress and now appears healthy despite his early challenges. As he approaches a year since his trachea surgery, Levi still needs check-ups and scopes in Boston. While insurance will help cover some costs, there will still be significant medical bills. The family is seeking financial support to ensure Levi receives the best possible care and continues his positive progress.
