(WNY News Now) – A 39-year-old Olean man was taken into custody after authorities executed a felony bench warrant issued by Olean City Court.
Olean, N.Y. – On January 18, 2025, at approximately 3:44 PM, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested Peter D. Jones, 39, at his residence on North 6th Street in Olean, New York. Jones had an active felony bench warrant issued by Olean City Court.
Following his arrest, Jones was transported to the Olean Police Department, where he was processed and subsequently released with an appearance ticket, as directed by an Olean City Court judge. Jones is scheduled to appear in Olean City Court later this week to address the warrant.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
