(WNY News Now) – CATTARAUGUS, NY – A 42-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding assault warrant following an investigation by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies executed the arrest warrant on Lance C. Lavallee, 42, at a residence on South Street in Cattaraugus at approximately 9:01 a.m. on January 29, 2025. Lavallee was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
Authorities charged Lavallee with third-degree assault, alleging he intended to cause physical injury. Following his arrest, he was arraigned the same day in Little Valley Town Court, where he was released on his own recognizance. Lavallee is scheduled to appear in New Albion Town Court at a later date for further proceedings.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
