(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – A Jamestown man was taken into custody following a domestic dispute on the city’s west side Sunday night.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the 2nd Platoon responded to a residence at approximately 8:00 PM on February 9, 2025, after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim and conducted an investigation.

Authorities determined that Timothy G. Press, 37, had punched a hole in the wall during the course of the dispute. Press was arrested without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he was charged with Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree.

Press remains in custody pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
