(WNY News Now) – OLEAN, N.Y. – Authorities seized multiple firearms and significant quantities of narcotics during a search warrant execution at a residence in Olean.

On February 18 at approximately 8:45 p.m., members of the Olean Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at 905 W. Henley St. Investigators discovered a safe inside the residence and, upon gaining entry, recovered three handguns, approximately 15 ounces of cocaine, about one ounce of fentanyl, cash, and other drug-related items.

The search warrant was obtained by the Street Crimes Unit as part of an ongoing investigation. The resident, Janine Heitzinger, was not present at the time of the warrant execution. Authorities confirmed that charges are pending as the investigation continues.

The Olean Police Department received assistance from the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force in executing the warrant. This remains an active investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Olean Police Department.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
