(WNY News Now) – GREAT VALLEY, NY – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning on Route 219.

At approximately 3:55 a.m. on March 2, deputies responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident with injuries near Killbuck Road. Upon arrival, authorities determined that the driver, identified as Angelique Trinidad, was operating a 2017 Jeep Compass when the vehicle veered off the roadway. The SUV struck both a National Grid utility pole and a tree before coming to a stop.

Trinidad sustained injuries and was transported to Olean General Hospital by Salamanca EMS for treatment. Law enforcement officials stated that charges are pending further investigation.
