(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A routine traffic stop on Washington Street resulted in the arrest of two individuals on drug-related charges Tuesday evening, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

On March 3, 2025, at approximately 5:08 p.m., officers from the department’s Second Platoon conducted a vehicle stop in front of 2000 Washington Street for observed traffic infractions. The occupants were identified as Crystal R. Borst, a Bemus Point resident, and Nicholas T. Doland of Jamestown.

During the investigation, officers discovered Doland had an outstanding probation warrant. Additionally, Borst was found in possession of fentanyl and Buprenorphine Naloxone Sublingual Films, leading to her arrest on two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.

Both individuals were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. Borst was processed and released with an appearance ticket for Jamestown City Court, while Doland was held pending arraignment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
