(WNY News Now) – SHERIDAN, NY – A Collins man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 20 in the Town of Sheridan early Saturday morning.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted the stop at approximately 2:23 a.m. on March 15, 2025. The driver, identified as 28-year-old Dustin A. Harmon of Collins, NY, was found to be intoxicated after further investigation.
Harmon was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), speeding, and making an improper or unsafe turn without signaling. He was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in Sheridan Town Court at a later date.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
