Authorities initiated a traffic stop on March 1, 2024, at approximately 2:09 p.m. in the area of Jefferson Avenue and Brown Street in Buffalo. Jackson was found operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and without a valid driver’s license. During the stop, investigators discovered cocaine and a scale in his possession. A subsequent search warrant executed at his Cayuga Street residence led to the seizure of additional cocaine, packaging materials, and cutting agents.

Jackson faces up to nine years in prison when sentenced on May 23, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. He remains free on previously posted bail.

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Intelligence Unit, the Buffalo Police Department Intelligence Unit, and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force conducted the investigation. The case was prosecuted by Chief Noha A. Elnakib of the Raise the Age/Motor Vehicle Theft Insurance Fraud Unit and Assistant Chief Samantha N. King of the Buffalo City Court Bureau.
