(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A Jamestown man was taken into custody Monday evening following a neighbor dispute on the city’s south side involving threats with a screwdriver.
According to authorities, officers from the Second Platoon responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m. on March 17, 2025, after reports of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers learned that Tyler J. Cahill allegedly threatened a neighbor with a screwdriver.
Cahill was arrested without incident and transported to City Jail. He has been charged with Menacing in the Second Degree and is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
